Icon2 Eg windows going up slow.

Hi I just bought a 1993 EG civic EX and the windows go down fine but when going up about half way the drivers window goes really slow sometimes to the point where it stops and I have to pull the window up along with the motor. My question is has anyone had this problem? Has anyone fixed it? Do I just need to clean the inside? Do I need a new motor?

If you have any questions for me feel free to ask. Btw I searched online and can't find anything but people talking about silicone but nothing with instructions or pics so I can get an accurate instruction. Anyone's help will be greatly appreciated.

Start by spraying some silicone lubricant into the rubber side channels for the window glass.

If the problem persists, the window glass may need re-aligning or the regulator may need replacing.

Thanks for the fast reply. Can I pick up the silicone spray at like Walmart or should I go to a autozone?

Walmart carries it and should be cheaper there.

Silicone Spray.

I've it on my car, and tons of my friend's cars.

I might also suggest removing the door panel and spraying the channels accessible through there, also.
