Dear All
Kind of off topic a little, but I’m wondering if someone can send me contact details for a Snap On truck in the Los Angeles area (Santa Monica / Hollywood)
I’m after number of complete kits (socket sets, screw drivers, spanners etc / hand tools) although finding someone to sell me what I need is proving to be very difficult !
Looking forward to hearing from someone
Kindest Regards
James

Are you visiting from Melbourne?
Go to the largest car dealership to where you are staying at. As the mechanics there for the snapon/matco/mac contact info that has that route.
If you have more time just go online and order it.

Yeah I’m over here from Melbourne, ordering is online as they don’t simply buy having Kits etc.. plus I really want to jump into a van and choose when I want…
I’ll try walking into a dealership tomorrow… ! (I assume you mean new car dealers / garage shops etc ?)
Kindest Regards

Yes, I meant a new car dealership. There is 99.999% chance the guy will not be there. From my experience they only come once a week. At least at the dealerships I worked at. You should be able to get his name/number and meet in on his route where ever that maybe. If he thinks you are going to buy boat load of tools you might be able to convince him to come see you.
If you do not have snapon where you live are you sure you want to buy it? They're great tools but when you pay the huge uplift you are paying for the tool guy delivering it to you at your work and a no hassle life time warranty. Your not getting the two most important parts of buying snapon tools.

Thanks for your additional information.
The main reason is the sexy snap on quality
This is quality no other tools have
.. as for warranty the never broken a snap on tool … (if used correctly)
So yeah happy to lose two of the most important features
Kindest Regards

No argument there. I wish my box had more snap on less craftsman/kd/no name, etc...
If your getting a rental car when you visit you might get some great deals on craigslist. Just a FYI I think people in America are more likely to jack you for you money so only meet craigslist people in daylight at a public place like a major shopping mall. Up here in Northern California seems like every month you hear about someone getting robbed on craigslist for too good to be true car for sale.
