Default My Civic VTI VTec 97

Hi!
My name is Mendes, I'm from Brazil and I would like to share with you the history of my car.
I hope you guys like it!
Hug and thank you!

Finally, an old project delayed by 3 times, time for lack of resources, time for failing to find a car that I liked!

This is a 97/98 EK VTI, single owner, in good condition.
The history of this car is as follows:
The former owner, traveling through Brazil off the work when passing in front of an authorized Honda, came across two VTIs EK 0 km on display, one green and one blue, both on display. To ask about the cars, it was informed that the owner of the authorized had held an import of 5 units, having been sold 3 and the other two were made of showcase. Then asked if there was the possibility of purchase, responded positively. And so was the purchase of blue. Already in your city, began to be "disturbed" that sells the VTI, at any cost. Readily undertook sale and in the same second turn to the authorized asking about the Green, where there he was on display yet. "Making the car I'm going to search for" ... the words of former owner!!

The most interesting of this whole story is that the cars are 97/98 and this whole episode was in 2005 ... that's right, all this while standing in the window of the authorized!!!! Believe me, I got a 97/98, single copy owner that only began to be used in 2005!!!! Was what you were looking for!!!!!

Well, little by little I will updating with purchases of parts and the work done. I hope to be able to do a gig and that the toy is cool!

Starting the story:
The car being shipped in place of purchase

Buying the car

Arriving in my city

Original Still

Gradually I will be posting more information!

Hi!

While the pieces are not enough ...

the tramp was tense today! We put the Blessed (Dat 69 Orange aspirated/Nitro) for floor, finely. Still undergoing adjustments ...

Little time is left for my car, so I got the basic hygiene in the corners of the engine, since it is they who, being dirty, cause damage to bodywork!
At first, check drain local and hard-to-reach corners, so that undesirable occurs not rust!!!
Let's the photos of the service:

Well, usually it takes me 4 weekends to leave the vault of my car as I like! Slowly the cart will taking shape!
General out tomorrow with the right wax and everything!

For now this is it!!

I'm guessing english isn't his first language, or he's using Google Translate. Either way, the civic looks really good!

I think your car looks great! Nice additions so far.

The wheels are a tad big, an inch or two smaller would be lighter and handle better, but it does look good

DO NOT INSTALL THIS!!!

Please don't cut holes in your bumper. Por favor, năo corte furos em seu pára-choque. That car is too beautiful!

This is NOT where the rear fog light installs. The rear fog light is integrated into the rear tail lamp. It does NOT go in the bumper. See this DIY for an example: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/%5Bdiy%5D-honda-civic-92-95-oem-rear-fog-lamp-retrofit-install-guide-2481875/

No, no, the tail lights are original that came in the car, but I did a painting at the Orange and white, with red varnish! I don't like the colour orange, so I painted it red!!
