So last month I had the lower ball joints replaced on both the passenger and driver side of my 2005 CRV. During that visit, I also had the dealer replace a broken lug nut on the passenger side.

As I was changing my oil today I noticed what looked like fresh grease leaking from on top of the passenger side lower ball joint. The grease looked fairly clean and new. It did spray grease over the inside of the wheel and I wiped a nice little goop from the ball joint. Ball joint looks good - not torn.

Any ideas of what it could be - over filled during replacement or do I have another issue.
