Autel OBD II doest not fit Civic/06 port

Autel OBD II doest not fit Civic/06 port
The cable that came with MaxiDiag- Autel scanner- does not fit the female port on my 2006 civic, do i need an adapter, the port on the civic is different than the port on the corolla, any suggestion, please and thank.....

I used my scan gauge on my 1999 corolla and my 2006 civic...
The 2006 civic's OBD II is a bit more tucked away, maybe you are using the wrong port...
The OBD II port is all the way to the right, look around a bit to find it
