new member! 92 prelude s
Just bought this . Needs some interior. Well a lot of interior work everything is falling apart but I love it already. Planning on trading wheels for some better looking 16"
Would be nice to hear your experienced opinions!

After two days of driving the car around town the clutch went out.
Took it to mechanic and he replaced slave and master cyl ($150) and he said I needed break pads all around so $200 more. Fixd the wipers and one door lock. Slowly getting it fixed .
Been driving it for 5 days or so and I like it more everyday
it picks up pretty dam good.
I'm glad it could be saved on time

Welcome
In my opinion, that car looks clean! And I think black wheels look great on red cars. That sucks that it already had a head gasket leak on a recently rebuilt engine. Have any future plans for the lude?

Future plans: -shocks(need them bad!)
-Window tint
- climate control needs repair
-power locks
-and speedometer needs to b fixed.
After all this is taken care off I want to go back to suspension and make sure it handles good and smooth.
We'll see what next after that
more pics.. i need shocks. i am debating on just getting monroe for $150 all around or should i get kyb agx's $90 each in the back and get the front ones later???? any insight?

Comments about KYB Gas Strut:
At 137K miles on Honda Prelude (base). I have to replace the front with pairs of KYB struts, drive like new not too soft or bouncy. The rear was replaced with Honda OEM at twice the cost; wish I discovered these before rear was done. No more bottoming out at end of slope drive way. Time will tell on reliability, but it's life time warranty.

of course the first reply is a troll! welcome to honda-tech where everyone knows everything and you are always wrong.
Anyways... nice lude. How is the paint holding up?

paint looks really good! (from far away) lol .
only a few mistakes done when it was painted but i plan on fixing all that later.
i like the color.
been planning on repainting the wheels. or just stripping them down to aluminum if possible.
I got lucky enough to find a 94 prelude that was wrecked and i can get spare parts from so i think i will be fixing the interior up pretty good
