Default HELP Save my Cowl

So I got engine degreaser spots all over my front plastic cowl of my Civic...the black plastic now has hazy white spots all over it that i can't seam to remove. Any suggestions? (no i dont want to buy a new one its like $150) ...I also dont want to remove and paint it black again.

You could try that trim shine stuff. If that doesn't work try some meguiars oxidizer made for boats. I used it on some of my trim.. gave it a nice shine.

it sounds like raw black plastic cowl cover directly under the wipers...

if your strapped for cash, scuff it with a red scotch bright, soap and water. then spray it somewhat dry with some matte black plastic paint. 2 to 3 coats at 70 degrees or so and let it dry as directed
