I have a mostly stock 00 Si with the original B16. It has 161k miles. Motor is stock. I noticed a leak that appears to be the cylinder head gasket. Pic below:
Anyways, what is the typical price for labor to have a new gasket installed? If I went to a heavier weight oil would that help reduce the amount of leakage?

you will find its not the head gasket but a little Oring on the distributor
its a 5 min fix
wash all the oil off and youll find the leak just under the distributor

Dizzy isn't hard to take off, any only goes back on one way. takes 15 min tops to change th o-ring. My GSR also has oil right there, and on the cam side too, and I know it's from the headgasket.
get new Oring 1st from Honda
unplug dizzy
remove plug leads remember where they go
undo the 3 bolts for the dizzy
slide dizzy out
take note of the key position on the dizzy as it only goes in one way
with a small screw driver pry off oring
slide on new Oring
then install making sure you line it up to your mark
and leads go back on correct
plug it back in
start car
enjoy leak gone

The vtec gasket looks to be leaking. I'd just replace all 3 to be safe. They are cheap. The o ring at Honda is like 2 vtec gasket is around 15 and the plug is around 5
