Op are you suicidal? Do you not value you life?
Harness bars are a joke. My clothes hanger is stronger than a harness bar and i only trust it to hold my clothes. your trusting it with your life??? If you would have searched, you would learn how unsafe they are in a DD!!!

you shouldnt be running harnesses on the street. period. they are meant to be used with a full bucket seat and rollcage.
the stock 3 point belt is the best choice for a stock seat.

Okay i'm still trying to get a little info on this lol. Are harness bars "Dangerous" only with a "Stock seat"? So let's says i through a couple Bride Zeta III Full bucket seat's(Driver and passenger) with the rails and all ect. Are you saying THAN it's safe to have a harness bar with them? Because obviously i would never run harnesses and a harness bar with stock seats that's stupid As **** lmfao. Because when i was at the meet there were people talking about not using the harness bar is this ONLY with Non-bucket seats?
You see how thin and flimsy they are?
It will bend "guaranteed" in an accident.
When it does, your going to fly about the car.
I cant stress this enough.. Stop listening to "meet monkeys" who know nothing about seats, harnesses, and race applications.
Harnesses are designed to be used in conjunction with a roll bar or cage.
A large diameter tube that is either bolted in or welded in the car.
NO harness bars with any kind of seats.

why the hell would you drive with a harness on the streets? what are you trying to prove?
a harness and cage on a car that sees any street time is STUPID.

It's like saying why do you paint your car when you could put money towards something else. Or Why put on new rims when you can rock donks and save money?
Oh trust me i wasn't listening to there advice, they were actually telling me NOW to use lmao. So what if i got a "Stronger/Stiffer" bar and tac'd it then ran a couple beads to intact it? In other words i'm basically dropping bride's in an ek couple and i want to run a roll cage(I've helped with them before basically did all the frabicating and welding). Should i just re-enforce a whole new bar or what is the most "Safe" method and setup i should use with brides and a harness? I never actually look time to really look at a whole setup with them. My town is full of half-*** monkey's and Recaro's are the BEST you will see if this town and that is RARE AS **** and even then only with a stock seatbelt. i've always loved driving with harnesses.
Even in a street car I dont recommend them, roll bars are dangerous to your head too.
Even if padded with FIA standard padding you will mash your mellon on something.
Harnesses stretch on impact... it only takes a little bit and you are out of that harness and Some part of your body will hit something.
Your stock seatbelts will keep you safer on the street than a harness.
Thats why racers use helmets, center nets, arm restraints, and Hans devices in their cars.
Every measure of safety is used to keep themselves safe.
I've seen broken ankles, and arms from just a mild off road experience... no crash, just left the track briefly.
The next thing you know you are being pulled from the car and headed to the care center.
