A friend of mine wants to sell me his GSR rims with Michelin tires for $600.00. The tires only had 1000 miles put on them. Does that sound like too much?

 

Yes. I sold my prelude rims for $300.

What year are they? Actually, it doesnt even matter, unless the are the polished 00-01 sawblade rims, $600 is way too much. And even still, if they are the sawbaldes, they have to be PERFECT, and then, maybe he can get $600 w/ tires. But thats pushing it.

 

They are 01 Sawblades.One scratched at the edge of the rim but other than that they are perfect. Ive been thinking just keep my 91 Crx Si rims, but they are missing the center caps and I can't find them anywhere.

I say $450 is more like it. Unless the tires are brand new and the rims are perfect. then maybe $550.

i sold my 2001 gsr rims with 16,000 miles on the stock tires for $650, shipping was $120, so basically i sold them for $530. if they are in perfect condition $600 is a pretty good deal. especially if you dont have to pay shipping.

Locally here in Augusta, I think 450 to maybe 500 is about the going price for my 98 Blades w/ fairly new kumho exsta 712's.

same condition as stated...one of my rims has a small scratch on the outside.

wow....$600 for gsr rims from a so called "friend". thats a rip. go buy yourself some rota's for $425. just be patient. i came across some gsr blade rims for $275 w/ tires. i mean i'm not saying you're going to get the same deal but i know if you check around more you'll find some for $400. there's some on recycler ad if you're in CA.

Here's the focked up part. His rims are sitting in my backyard. He had no place to store them. I actually like the slipstreams, but I thought they were expensive. were can I find some for cheap?

yes and no.... 600 does sound a lot ... but if you really want them and you can't find anything else in your area for cheaper.. then, value is in the eye of the beholder.

they're a lot cheaper than mugen mf-8's

 

hell yeah thats too much. dont buy it. u can buy a set of aftermarket rims for that price.

 

no,because i got my gsr rims for my hatchback si for $200.00 thats cheap.
