Hey jordan,
I am the tech manager at FRAM Filters. You should try a oil filter with a silicone antidrainback valve. That is what is leaking and causing your start up rattle. The FRAM TG3593a (conventional and semi synthetic oil) or the FRAM Ultra XG3593a (synthetic oil) would be great choices. We make the original equipment Honda filter, it also uses a silicone antidrainback valve. If you want to understand what the valve is and how it works, just look for our "oil filter anatomy" video on youtube.
