Hydro/Cable Conversion, need info.
I got a lead on a cheap 90 CRX the other day, the car has an unfinished mini me in it that need an engine harness (comfortable with this), but and "it is hydro tranny converted over to a cable" says the seller. I can tell he doesn't know cars (he didn't do the swap btw) so I won't know what he means til i actually check it out in a few days (i'm guessing there's a hydro in the car with a conversion kit that possibly still uses the clutch cable).
Never done anything of this sort, what are some things I should look for when I check it out? Obviously if a hasport conversion kit is there i'll be somewhat put to ease, but is there anything else to make sure it's not a butchered job?
