heater resistor dead?
Hey. I recently just took out my AC unit from my civic hatch and now my heater isn't working. I cut the wires to my AC unit then took out the condenser. Does any of those 2 relay and wires matter? None of the fuses are born. Still blows but just cold. Need it to defrost my windows! Can it be my resistor? Need answers soon. Thanks
No, the resistor controls the blower can speed.
Make sure you didn't screw up the connection from the heater control to the valve in the line from the enging to the heater core. That valve controls the flow of hot coolant into the heater core, if you can't open it, you get no heat.
