LS won't start up. Fuel, spark, cranking, no start.
Put new rings and such in my old LS and sold it to a kid I know. Helped him get it in, and it's being problematic. His car is a 1990 Integra GS.
Basically, it started up first try but died slowly after I let off the gas, but it was due to the thermostat ground being loose (I presume), and main relay didn't click anymore. Fixed that, and it just cranks, making some quiet, kind of soft popping sounds in the engine/exhaust, as if it's trying to fire up, but just can't quite make it.
Put in new plugs, it's getting fuel, getting spark, but it just won't quite turn over. He needed an injector for #3, and I used one of my stock injectors. But one of my stock ones was stuck open and I got them mixed up, so it could be the bad one and just soaking the plug making it not fire.
It's not throwing any codes, main relay is working as it should, building fuel pressure, timing is all where it should be, etc.
I'm really scratching my head on this one, and I'm at my wits end here.
Any help would be awesome, thanks.

Everything is right on the mark though, that's what's odd. It fired up the first time and sounded just fine, but the revs quickly dropped and died because the thermostat ground was loose and it made the main relay not receive power. Fixed that and now it sounds like it wants to start, but just can't quite make it.
As you just said..... f*#@ing valve lash. I accidentially put in my B1 cams instead of the A1's which it was already set for. So it was holding numbers 1,2 and 3 open slightly letting out all the compression, and #4 was only making 90psi. Did the valve lash and all are at 150-ish (new rings).
