Anyone using AME (Art Morrison) rollcage for 96-00 civic coupe??
Does anyone or know someone that is using this rollcage in a 99-00 civic coupe? It's the 6 point weld-on one and i wanted to see how well it fits in the car with full interior. Well if anyone has pics of it, please post some. Or if someone knows anyone that can do a custom rollcage real good in the Houston-Dallas-San Atonio area, please hook me up with some info. Thanx and peace out.
i would like to know as well.i have been looking at them, but would like to hear about them first.i really don't want one at all because i feel like the car is to nice.but if i go to an event i want to be legal.

I don't know much about AME, but I do know of the shop that I go to. They're called AR Fabrication and they're based out of Virginia. http://www.arfabrication.com If you give Howard a call I'm positive he can set you up with whatever you need, extremely nice guy. All their cages are NHRA approved. I know he did Sean Glazer's car and many other pro racers. Give him a call, or check out the website, you won't be disappointed.
I have an AME cage in the CRX. But it's fully gutted...and it's a CRX.
It is quite a bit of work to put together your self. But you will learn a lot, and will be proud of yourself in the end... you have to cut and notch yourself. And in the case of my cage, the pictures of it weren't what we received... It still fit, and worked ok, I would just have rather had it the way it was in the pictures, it would've made things easier, I think.
but they make more of a budget option. If you are a show car, or pro racer with a big budget, I would suggest going full custom, and not a DIY kit.
