K20/K24 Build Thread (1st build)
This is a build thread & also a intro thread so with that being said I'm a 19yr old full time college student working a part time job trying to build my K20/24 EK coupe some how with the minimum funds I currently have.
Previously I had a silver auto ek coupe as my first car.

Didnt know much about cars at all. So all I did was add little ebay parts here and there and bought a set of rota grids wrapped with yokohama s drives.

Later on I learned slowly but surely and wanted to go faster simple as that but didnt have the funds so sold it for a Black lsv ek coupe.(1st manual car)


Spun bearings about a month later



So brand new crank, ACL race bearings, Type R oil pump, all new gaskets and I'm pretty sure other stuff that slipping my mind. but had to baby for 500mi
Got a painted front bumper, no fogs, a greedy evo 2 for super cheap, some different wheels, OEM si headlights & my favorite addition personal wheel



So recently bumped into a deal that in my opinion was a good enough deal so I can jump into a K for easier/cheaper than if I was going to do a different route not to mention I was currently in the process of gather parts for a b20v build and only really wanted a K20/K24 if given a choice.
So Lsv out!

8:8:1 wiseco pistons (give me your opinons for a boost setup) + eagle rods

Told these are type R cams...true?

So thats the K, K20a2 head and K24a1 block. Picking up a 5spd ep3 tranny next week and surely but surely, check to check this build will come together.
How my car currently sits

Treated myself to more K parts
Ep3 5spd tranny, RSX harness+charge harness, Coil packs.

Got EKK2 Hasport Mounts
might also buy the Ktuned ep3 pully kit or save my money some more.. (being poor sucks)
