Integra Road Noise
Anyone find the Integra has a lot of road noise coming inside the cabin?
If so, what are some ways I can help reduce the road noise?
By add insulators and such, but where do I go abouts of buying this stuff and where to install?

i'm still on the stock michelin XGTs. at highway speeds, they emit an awful lot of noise. i think tires are the main cause of road noise. if all else fails, just crank up the music. i don't think our integras were meant to be quiet and comfortable.
Yes road noise is load in the integra's and yes I think it does have a lot to do with the kinda tires. The stock Michelin's were loud and you could notice road noise. Now I'm on Dunlop SP9000 and it's a little quiter, but it doesn't bug me.
I wonder what the road noise is like with snow tires on??

Tegs are noisy cars. You could always add some sound damping material to the inside panels of your car. You would have to add a few pounds to your car to do this, but you could potentially cut road noise by 3-4 db (more if you go crazy
).
What about sound deadening material? Dynamat....etc could do the trick, no?
I think most of the noise comes from the tire wheel well...so if you could somehow glue on sound deading material there..perhaps.......

I thought the same thing, It could be the tires, I know that makes alot of difference.
But I used Raamat. It's like Dynamat only it costs less. I got 65 Square feet for about 100 dollars, shipped. You can buy it buy emailing "Richard McCallum" @ raam@raamaudio.com he's a good guy, I'll reccomend his product to anyone. How do I like it? I love it. My doors now close with much more authority, its a noticable difference. I bought the Raamat 60 and I had enough to put two layers on the doors (3 door hatchback) two layers on the firewall and one layer over the rear wheelwell and the bottom and back of the hatchback area. As regards turning up the tunes now I can keep the tunes lower and still hear them. The downside is I added about 30 lbs to my car.
