What's the best stuff to use to get the paint off a valve cover?
I want to strip whatever paint is left on my valve cover off, so that I can repaint it, and I remember a while back, somebody was saying that there's some stuff you can buy that takes it off. But I don't remember the name, so does anybody know what to use?

i think it's called aircraft stripper or something. i saw it at discount auto parts, but it was outta stock. most auto stores like that should have it
Yeah, use some aircraft stripper. Just give it plenty of time to work. You can buy it in an aerosol can at Autozone.
def use airplane stripper, you can buy it at Wal-Mart. You might have to do a few applications to get all the paint off and make sure you rinse it off really well when finished and wash it down with soapy water to neutralize any left over chemicals.

Yeah that stuff REALLY stings if you get it on bare skin. Even if you only get the smallest dot of it... ouch.....
its called aircraft paint remover, spray it down with that and wear gloves. it will start bubbling off the paint and use some type of brush to scrape it off with. when its all down remember to hose it off than primer it than paint.
