Default dizzy not getting power

i have a 95 integra converted rhd from the previose owner. the dashharness and assuming engine harness he said was from a 2000 the motor is a b18c1 gsr. the problem im having is that the blk/ylw wire leading into the dizzy is getting no voltage when the ignition is on when i unpluged the harness from the dizzy i get .5 volt i check the voltage on the ignition switch per the factory service manual (obd1 service manual) the power there is 12v. i tries tracing it out of the fuse panel through to the shock tower plug and there is 12v there im having trouble tracing the wire through to the dizzy b/c of a wire tuck so i cant c if there is a frayed or brock wire causing the voltage drop.

also would it be safe to jump the blk/ylw wire to a 12v source like of the starter ir could that fry the icm

flowing the instructions on page 11-66 on the factory service manual

so basicly my question is what could of caused this

this happened when i was trying to fix another problem and using a battery charger set on boost to keep the battry voltage up dont know if this could of caused another issue i checked all the fuses and there all good vissualy and with a test light

Default Re: dizzy not getting power

Is the distributor ign. power the only ign. power not working, does the fuel pump prime when you turn on the ign., does the cluster "light up" when you turn on the ign, how about wipers and power windows and anything else that should work with the ign. switch on?

If it is only the distributor, then disconnect the black/yellow from the distributor and supply power to the distributor directly, [from batt. or starter motor], do not leave the black/yellow connected as it may be shorting out, [just depin it from the plug].

My guess is the black/yellow has a break in it at a point where a connection has been made to lengthen it for the tuck. 94
