94 & up f22 in a 91 Accord
So my Accord wagon blew its engine and I need to know if I can use a newer engine in my older car and what will need to be done if anything. I am thinking that the Accords didn't go into OBD2 till 95 but I am not certain. Thanks in advance for any help.

'94/'95 same. '96/'97 are OBDII and different, but can be made to work.
So what would I need to do to make a 96/97 engine work in my car? The only reason I ask is that it seems the newer engines are cheaper and have lower mileage than the engines from my generation.
My bad should have said the difference.
96/97 uses a different distributor and the crank sensor is on the crankshaft.
IIRC All you need to do to install a 96/97 B1 into a 94/95 is install all the 94/95 bits and ignore the crank sensor pigtail.

Sorry, not sure of all the details of putting a B1 into a CB. However, if the B1 has already been swapped in, then it would be like working on a 94/95. And yes, reuse all the 94/95 B1 parts, and ignore the 96/97 B1s crank sensor.
