Default aftermarket sleeves whats the difference?

golden eagle,darton,AEBS,benson

are all throwing around big words on their webpage when describing the sleeves

they all seem to be "the best" and they all set themselfs apart from "the other sleeving guys"...

theres also plenty of threads full of people saying mine are the best because i have them for 2-3 -x years and they didnt fall out... thats really not helpfull to anyone at all..

but since they all have different design can anyone explain in few words what are the benefits/fallbacks of each design and what type of engine they are suited for best?

im not talking about the quality of install thats another topic im talking about the design of the sleeve.

Your best bet? Call up and talk to each and every one one of these companies and pose these questions. Unless someone has actually used all four of their offerings and the various iterations they provide, all you're going to get is a lot of personal opinion that you aren't wanting.

x2

Unless guys like SpeedFactory, Tony, Miller and/or KaizenSpeed post an answer to this question, because the chances of them having experience with more than one sleeving company is way higher than the average "racer," your best bet is to call each manufacture.

If you don't have any specific hardcore technical questions past "which one is best for what and why?" when calling these businesses then all you're going to get is sales hype and customer opinion. Same as what you'll get here. If you don't know what questions to ask or know if what you're getting is a load of BS or not then you might as well not even bother.

Here's a question for you; what is most important to YOU when considering a sleeving service?

for me i want them to hold up to my everyday abuse for the 2 liter gsr that im building.
and i mean every day abuse.
but i was also hoping that someone can tell the difference in a few words for everyone else so this thread is usefull not only for me.

yea i wanted cheaper obviously better deal is better but if it means 1000 dollars for sleeves that gonna last me a year or 1500 for sleeves that gonna be bullitproof i rather spend extra.

benson sleeves are open deck ad other 3 have their own version of sleeve support on top.

i wanted to know if there is any difference in those designs.

im planning to have it carry power to 9000 rpm and want sleeves that wont have any issues with that like overheating or coolant flow or sleeves deforming etc( i like high revving motor not because i saw it on HT)

if any and all of those sleeves can hold 900+whp, i think they'll be just fine in your all motor setup.

Which of those companies sleeves fail after only a year? I think you're just over dramatizing now.
