Hi,

I must start by saying that I am no where near to being a mechanic and do not know much but i do like to try and do things myself.

My 99 Civic dx 1.6 sounds high in revolutions while in park and when I put it in drive it goes up to 20mph without me stepping on the accelerator.

Any thoughts on how I may be able to fix this?
