H2B EG hatch buildup from the ground up
Ok so i finally decided to do a build thread, not too showcase my mad galore of super expensive parts that i dont have. Rather instead to focus more on as much labor work and restoration as possible. But most importantly to get advice, suggestions, and anything else you guys can offer. The build wont be as rapidly moving as some build threads but that doesnt mean it wont be getting work done.
My plans for the car are as follows:
1. H2B motor build with my direct port nitrous setup.
2. Full bay shaving
3. Brake line tuck, fuel line tuck, already has full wire tuck
I have plenty more plans but those are the biggest to me at least besides paint.
All work is done out of my garage or on my driveway and plenty of research and ideas in my head.
Anyways here it is as it sits right now.. the DA on the left was also built from the ground up by me.. now its my garage ***** lol.

heres how i got it..

after a few months i was finally able to start doing work on it last weekend.

heres a couple pics of my teg when i got it in august 09 and how it is today.
minus motor, paint job, clean interior... the way i bought it

and the way it is today.

I have been building hondas for 8 years now and the DA chassis and EG hatch chassis have always been my favorite. So i patiently waited for the right shells to pop up so i can snag em.. So im very pleased to be doing builds on them both.. this is my fourth DA and my second eg hatch.. im fortunate enough to live next to willow springs so the hatch is going to be ran there eventually on streets of willow..

im not a baller so i like doing mods that are overlooked. the da has a custom gauge cluster with yellow needles, custom rear x bar setup, full dc2 gsr seats and stereo in glovebox with a block off plate where it originally mounted. I just thought itd be koo to see how wide i could get in back with no mods whatsoever and im quite happy with the look. im thinking with a rear shim kit i might be able to squeeze 225 series under there.
