hey guys i have a d16y8 engine obd2
i recently bought the car> i want to know if i have the right 02 sensor for that engine. i have pulled out the first on out and saw Ford marked on the o2 sensor. how will i know if its good. no check engine lights.

think its just 4wire one someone spliced in and if no check engine light your good If of course the check engine light works

Hook it up to a scanner and see

 

jeah it has 4 wires. but what i want to know is doesn't every car has his own type of oxygen sensor value readings

 

no not really its all about the same as far as readings go
