CRX Track Project
Hello, been on the forum for quite some time. Just never found the right time to start working on this project since I've always wanted to do it right and do it right the first time. Long and short of it is, I've had it since graduation back in 2007. Its a 91 Si with 150k miles. My brother bought it from the original owner who paid $13,500 and sold it to us for $100. Plans are the usual, Autox, some track days and eventually dedicate it full time to a track/time attack car for whichever class it falls under. No hard parked stuff from me. On to the pics!
Here it sits 100% stock except for some ebay seats and the stock wheels painted black.

Stripped it all down to the bones including engine. Headliner, dash and door panels are in. had a this laying around so it will do for now.

First things first... rust!

Out with the cancer. The doner patch came from an Aston Martin fender so now my car is somewhat exotic.

Patch cut and welded in and ready for the grinder

After alot of heating, bending and beers.. its coming along

Some sealer both inside and out, a coat of skim and some sanding to get the form.. its done!

Some repair work up front before the roll and a slight pull on all four corners.

Im going to fix the door moldings which have slight dents since I have a better chance of being president than finding good replacements.

Some things came in to make the ride very comfortable and enjoyable

The usual... Also, while doing the bushings, which all gave me no problems I might add, I replaced all tie rods, ball joints links etc with oem new stuff. I'll save the site some bandwidth by skipping the obvious pics.

First set, 400f/450R..

Ironing out all the dents and details

Here it sits primed and ready for some cement gray

Went to visit the shop today and here is how it looks

Waiting on getting the car back from paint so I can start jamming on getting started on cleaning up the interior.. removing all the tar, and painting it all gloss white. That's all I have for now BECAUSE

Feel free to comment and thanks for looking!

Color looks ok, will be better when we can see all the black trim. 90-91 moldings still available from honda last I checked. I have a used set if you want them. Any engine plans?
Yea the moldings got put on today. I'll be picking up the car tomorrow. I've called four different dealers and they all tell me I cant get them. I even went to ebay craigs etc etc. But the original ones have been fixed. The only thing that got me pissed is that I had to fork out almost $7 for each clip!!! Anywho, as for the engine, I have a gsr motor in the garage getting refreshed. I've been bothering Kraftwerks like crazy for the best few months to see when their B Series race supercharger kit will be done. I put an order for an autopower street bar this morning so that will be a few weeks till I get it.
