So my maint req'd light is on in my 02 civic si. I have tried the rest procedures and it didnt work. I looked more into and released when i press the button in it doesnt do anything. It wont cycle through my trips or odometer reading. The button doesnt appear to be stuck and i can feel it moving when i press it in

Does anyone have a write up or know how to fix this issue any help would be appreciated

 

So even when you are just driving and you push the pin in it doesn't cycle through your trips or reset the trips when held in?

I would say that the button has gone bad on the circuit board... never seen it happen but doesn't mean it can't

 

Exactly, I took the cluster out and the button does operate but I believe something is broke internally not sure yet still troubleshooting

 

maybe ask a friend or get a cheap cluster, swap it, reset the main't light, then swap back lol
