Default muffler thief

Just thought i would share that this morning i noticed my stock muffler was missing off of my 92 civic ex 4dr 5speed. I looked under and found my cat still in place and the muffler had been removed bolts and hangers. It didn't fall off. Either someone was too stupid too realize that it wasn't the cat or needed it for their car or just scrap weight. Either way there is a muffler thief on the lose. So hide yo kids hide yo wife because they stealing every ones mufflers.

just thought i would share.

Probably needed a replacement muffler due to rust out, doubt it was for scrap.

Highly doubt it was for scrap. It wouldn't be worth the time to take it off.

My friend just got his muffler stolen also in Modesto California, he has a dual exhaust(Obviously not a honda lol, i forget what the name of his car is starts with a t) and they only stole ONE muffler, and ONLY the tip not even the full exhaust or CAT , JUST the tip. Also it was sawed off not unbolted lmfao. When i seen it i was laughing hella bad because WHY in the living **** would you cut off 5-6 inches off of someones muffler tip?

I'm in Victorville also and they stole my complete exhaust from the cat back from under my Toyota pickup. If I would have caught them there would be blood stains under my truck.

I had someone try and take my cat once.. they ignore the alarm flashing light on the dash and when the losened it up they hit the frame.
Siren goes off they get up and ran leaving the craftsman 1/2 inch drive ratchet and socket behind. Score!

With a civic it probably would have been easier than crawling under and taking the muffler too

send him over here
