any diff between 92 crank pulley and 91 ??

Default any diff between 92 crank pulley and 91 ??

i was wondering if its safe to use the markings on the crank pulley for timing because i have a 92 motor with 91 crank pulley and i didnt quite look at it b4 i put it on...

yes its safe.. when i bought my Z6 it didnt have a crank pulley.. asked the shop here and the mech told me that doesnt matter that the size its not the same. they will work fine, since the marking will be on the same spot when they turn....and i am using my old D15B1 on my D16Z6...

not sure how true it is, but i've heard the older pulley on the z6 will eat up your engine bearings.

I also have z6 with the tiny DX crank pulley. I doesn't make a difference what crank pulley you use because B's and D's engines are internally balanced. Hell my friend has a B16 with the p-s part of the pulley chunked off and its still all good. Now F's and H's you need balanced pullies.
