I have replaced alternator
I have checked all connections (that i know of)
I have cleaned all grounds (that i know of)
Someone has suggested it could be the main relay not sure.
when the battery is charged car drives great but the battery light will flicker not even stay on just flicker randomly.
Im in dire need of help on this one

chek your fuses, that happent to me on a civic 98, it wasnt the alternator, it was a underdash Fuse

 

The alternator is defective. The alternator provides a ground that turns on that light. The only other possibility is the wire between the light and the alternator is touching ground at times. 99.8% of the time it is a bad alternator.

 

Autozone alternators are known to be bad out of the box. The good news it they warranty them for life.

 

^ This. I replaced a starter last week for someone and they purchased it from Autozone: Bad out the box. Exchanged w/o any hassles. You have to expect that with AutoZone.
