1998 crv is having low idle problems, i cleaned the IACV put it back on and it ran fine for a few minutes. After a few minutes in stalled, it would idle down between 500-1000 rpm and the engine would start to shake before it stalled. As long as the throttle was barely open it would idle fine, so i adjusted the throttle cable so it would run for my wife. it seems as if the throttle assembly?? is not returning to the same place each time. HELP PLEASE!!!

 

try adjusting the screw on top of the throttle body if you've tried everything. I'd also check for a broken or loose vacuum line.

 

I do hear ato whistling sound but I cannot locate a vacuum leak. What does the screw adjust?
