Hey guys im new here, just have a quick (simple) question. I already completed my 5 speed swap, me and a buddie did it. The car turns on, shift gears (smoothly), Speedo Works...my problem...No Vtec and Very rough Idle. I am currently using a chipped p28 with crome(according to the seller), and obd2 to obd1 conversion harness. I have been doing some research and ive seen little mention that i need to do something to my iacv/(FITV), in order for my car to stop idling high...still doesnt explain the absence of Vtec. Anyways, my question is, has anyone done this swap using the P28, if so did you have to mess with you IACV? I believe i may just have a bum chip. All help is appreciated. Thanks
