1990 ACURA INTEGRA RS SHELL 5 SPEED SKUNK2 TOKICO CAMBER KIT WHEELS
Selling my Integra. It's a 1990 Acura Integra RS 5 speed manual car. I haven't driven it in two years. I pulled the motor last week and then decided to concentrate on ONE car instead of trying to get three on the road at the same time. The time and money I would spend on this to get it where I want it requires more effort then my project car which is almost finished and I keep getting distracted from it.
That being said. The car is a shell with NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION. The shift linkage, power steering and AC is still fully connected to the car. I unbolted them and moved them to the side. The AC will probably need a charge from sitting. But it blows ice cold when full. I have fixed the "integra passenger floor leak" using Honda OEM parts. So the car has no internal leaks. The interior is in mint condition. Normal wear and tear on the carpet. But the seats and panels are in great condition. It has stuff all inside in the picture from when I pulled the motor. I threw it in there so that I didn't confuse the Integra parts with my other cars. The car has the typical rear fender rust that has started. That would be the worst body issue I can point out. Aside from the primer and some minor dings and dents the body is in good condition for its age. Everything worked on the car when I stopped driving it. It has HID headlights.
The car has 17 inch wheels. They will need tires. Two i know are shot. They other two have camber wear. They may be able to be flipped. The Integra is lowered on Skunk2 adjustable coilover sleeves with Tokico blue struts. It has a front and rear camber kit. Both front calipers, all four rotors and pads are new with less than 500 miles on them. The car has stainless steel brake lines on all four corners. It has a short shifter installed. It has an aftermarket exhaust that sounds deep and not raspy. I can not remember the brand right now. I am typing this from memory. All the car needs is a motor and transmission to run. It can be tagged historic because of the year. I have a clear title in hand. Asking $1500 CASH
And to eliminate getting the question asked. The reason I stopped driving it and ended up pulling the motor is because one day I went to change the thermostat and one bolt broke off in the housing. There wasn't enough thread to get a good grip on it to get it out. So then I tried to take the thermostat housing off. I got the top bolt off and then the head on the bottom bolt stripped because I couldn't get my hand and tools in there good enough. I was wrenching on it blind. I got frustrated and let the car sit since I had several other cars and projects to deal with. Fast forward to last week I was bored and decided to pull the motor and transmission. Now that I have it out it's becoming one of those "well, while I have it out I might as well do this... and this..... and this...." kind of thing. The same amount of effort i can put into this I can put into my other car. So to eliminate all of that I want to sell the car. Then I won't have the distraction anymore and just finish my project car.
I WILL NOT PART THE CAR OUT! The only thing I will considering selling separately is the wheels with your stock wheels to replace them so that I can keep the car a rolling chassis. I am not strapped for cash and will ignore lowball offers. I don't need to sell it. But this will be one less distraction that I have. Thank you for looking.
