i have a few questions to ask about swapping out my engines,

Im driving a jdm 94 si prelude with the F22B dohc non vtec engine, I have a bb4 laying up, i want to take that H22a engine and swap it with the F22B

So can i swap ecu,s plug and play? only wire up the vtec solenoid (pin it into the ecu?)

and all i have to do then is swap engines? i could alternativley take the whole engine loom and ecu, But i want to make it easy as possible.

Will the fuse box etc all be ok with out swapping things everthing seems all the same?

 

As long as the distributor setup is the same, just swap engines and ecus, and obviously wire vtec.

Sounds like you should just swap everything over from the vtec model if the body/ registration needs to be the si.

 

Yea i have to use the si alright, ive swapped interiors etc and wired up the electric drivers seat into the si fuse box, love that electric seat,

Im just going to lift one full engine out and swap it with the other, i was thinking like you said id just swap ecu's and wire in vtec, as i can follow it back to see what pins etc to use

 

if you have a jdm f22 it should already have the vtec wiring in there
