does anyone know when this years meet will be held. and if it will be held at pacific raceways again.

I'm sure someone will step it up and organize one. Maybe it's time for someone new to take charge. Find a new location as well. I miss the old days. Use to be hella crackin and a ton of nice cars.

 

Golden Gardens would be cool.

 

A meet in Portland would be better.

Would be awesome for OR folks but I highly doubt the turnout would be great, there just aren't as many nice cars in OR as there are in WA. Lots of ricers and kids who think it's awesome to burn out and rev their single cams in the parking lot.

Couldn't have said it better myself, ya PR is a place for cars, but a buddy and I were talking and he brought up a good point...shows just haven't been the same since the last few at marymoor and magnason. Definitely not golden gardens, both ways in are horrible roads, and there just isn't enough parking.

Extralarge man you should organize the end of summer meet atleast, didn't you organize some of the last ones at marymoor and magnuson? Those were the shows that got some better quality cars out...I was very disappointed with the last meet at PR

Lol, There is simply too many cars nowadays and quality has gone down since a few years back. Marymoor may... accomodate enough cars but definitely not GG or Magnuson anymore. PR is really the only option with the hundreds of cars.

 

So no meet? Last HT meet I got to go to was the Rrev one in Portland a few years back, I was hoping to go to one this year. Though somewhere closer to Oregon would be nice, Seattle is a long way from Medford, OR (almost to Cali).

 

They did that to keep the cost down for the people who wanted to drag race. I am suprised there is no thread about this yet though.

 

I had fun at the PR meet last year. Excited to bring the new car up from Oregon :]

Years ago we had a H-T meet in Beaverton, OR I think in the Little Nickle?? parking lot. Was a good turnout and the cruise down from Seattle was fun.

 

21 April @ Pacific Raceways is the "H-T" meet. We plan on being there.

 

I disagree. I was just talking about the meet we had in Clackamas last summer. Few hundred cars showed and it wasnt sponsored or anything. Just organized on Honda-Tech!!! portland, especially clackamas, Beaverton, and Hillsboro have many badass rides!!
I will say def not as many JDM rides as seattle has but def has its fair share of clean built whips!!!
