Default GSR swap problems

Ok. 98 integra GSR new timing belt, tensioner. Blox intake manifold, stock throttle body, aftermarket fuel rail, new distributor. New exhaust from header back. Chipped P06 ECU.

The problems....
code 3 for MAP, changed out map for another, same problem.
idles at 1500 RPM's. Idle screw screwed all the way in. IACV when unplugged will idle down to 850-900 rpm's. Plug it back in and goes back up to 1500.
Car has black soot and gas smell at exhaust.
Vtec does not engage. Supplied 12 volts to solenoid itself and solenoid clicks.

I have been trouble shooting one thing after another and feel like im running in a circle.
any help would be appreciated
.

need more info, did you swap the engine? or the parts that you mentioned.
a code deffo means something is not wright.
did you touch the tps sensor, should reed 0,5 volt in idle and 4,5 at wot.
now 1500 rpm is just fine on cold start.
are you shure tps and map plugs arent mixed up,you wont be the first one.
good luck.

When making adjustments to the idle. You need to jump the service port so the ecu doesn't try to correct your adjustments.

Does the chipped p06 have a gsr base map?

Bought the car as a shell and bought swap from an individual in stock form. I added the intake mani while it was out. Found the thread on here showing the tps and map plugs and what they should be. ECU should have gsr base map. I did jump the service connector when I checked the idle adjustments. I did have a generic 68mm throttlebody on there before the stock one but there wasnt any good way to adjust idle on the aftermarket one so I went back stock. I did not run coolant lines to the FITV either.

Something to add to this is my distributor is all the towards the firewall. Had to do this to get the timing marks some what close to stock.

so you have come a long way.jumping the service connector to set idle never heard of this.when setting ignition yes.
now for the fitv thats a mechanical device and it really needs the heat from coolant lines or it will stay open, and keep your idle high.
your dizzy, way advanced and your timing still retarded?
check your marks on cams and crankgear(not pulley)

Extinguish this CEL first before going any further.

Check for a descrepency in the wiring, or the sensor itself.

Then procede if needed with all this other unecessary stuff being talked about^^
