I have just gotten a 90 CRX race car with a blown engine !!! The motor has a ZC stamped on the block !!! SOHC 1.6L I think it is a 92 - 95 motor,130 hp ???
I need another one or need to know if the head will fit another motor D16 A6 because I have one of those ??? Want to build a stock looking high Hp motor durable motor for endurance racing !!!! Chump car !!!
Any help is greatly welcome !!!

Really you got a ZC? do you know whats wrong with it? You might want to find out in case its worth fixing. If you have an A6 lying around, that can definitely go in your rex, as it is the stock engine for an 88-91 SI. If your looking for more horse (the a6 has about 100 hp as is) you can do a head swap as your were saying above, but I dont think it will work with the zc head(how do you know the ZC head isn't shot anyway?). The only real swaps you can do on an a6 are the mini me ones, which is a y8 and z6 if I remember right. Good luck on it though

 

Broke a rod !!! Block is shot Head is Ok !!! Looking to find another ZC motor and build it up !!! I think ???

sohc zc vtec is the jdm equivalent of the z6 in pretty sure so that head will also work for a mini me.
