90 acura Int G/S
Hey guys, I just got my first car and I'm trying to learn about it as fast as I can. I bought a 1990 Acura integra G/S a few months ago and I'm wondering if there is any tips FAQ's that any of you could give me, it has 271k miles on it but it runs great, my uncle use to work/race cars like mine and he says it runs really good for 271k miles on it.
Any type of help would be great and thanks for the tips!

First off it is an Integra GS, not G/S
Yours is the "upper" trim level, or "sport", [Grand Sport] version of the three available, [RS, LS and your GS] you will have ABS and may have, [most likely] a leather interior.
You have a 1.8L 130HP PGM-FI , [fuel injected] DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder engine.
There are a chit-load of info on the car if you Google it.
Hint #1, if there is no rust at the rear wheel arches, [lucky you] and it has not already been done, remove the real wheel arch "protectors"... #13 http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
#22 if it is a 4 door... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
They are pretty much the sole cause of thew rust that starts there on just about evey Integra. 94

Very nice and very clean for a 90, needs to be lowered a little, to lose that 4x4 look.
BTW, is that a Sport Comp w/shift light on your dash?

Like mine, and if so how do you like having the tach up high like that?94

so How much lower are we talking about here? and yes that is a sport comp w/shift light. I don't mind where the tach is really, it has not got in the way yet so I guess im happy with it.
Very nice btw, what year is it? its a little past 90 from the body I can tell... Also are those bucket seats you have? And i know you kinda went over this for me already, but where did you start to learn about cars? I can just go look crap up on the internet but I do not know what everything is called.
