Got a Skunk 2 IM for My 94 GSR was told i'd need a new(different) thottle cable(LS/GS) b/c of the TB in a differet location. was wondering if a ITR one would work can't find a GS/LS one.

 

You can use your stock GSR throttle cable if you're using the stock GSR throttle body with the throttle cable attached to the throttle body.

ITR cable mounts to the intake manifold and pulls in the opposite direction.

 

You match the cable to the cable mount.

 

What you wanna do is swap out the throttle body pulley for one from a ITR/LS/GS (also heard that most civics have the same pulley) then swap out the cable from the same model. You also wanna grab the throttle cable bracket too. Heres a pic of mine all swapped over:

Yeah thats what you want. When I changed mine over I just ordered a brand new ITR throttle cable and bracket from Honda then went to the wrecking yard and grabbed a pulley. I looked at a friends LS and the bracket looks the exact same as what I got so I am sure the cable should be too.

 

Heres some part numbers if you need them.
ITR throttle cable: 17910-ST7-R01
ITR bracket: 16411-P73-000
