Hi, i have a 93' Del sol with a d15b Vtec engine. Today i gave it a spin as it is not my daily driven car and after some time the CEL came on. At the same time the engine felt much weaker and felt harsh. It didn't turn off. I turned off the car and restarted it at my garage and the light didn't come on again. I didn't try driving it around. I haven't checked anything yet. Possibly a fuel filter problem ? Thanks

 

Check what the CEL is.

 

Does the ecu save the CEL code even when the CEL is not on? Will try the paperclip method tomorrow morning as it's 10.25pm here. Thanks
