Wondering if ITR owners in socal still or ever meet up? I have been out of the sean for 9 years until recently. I remember back in the day the aliso beach meets and the track junky meetings at buttonwillow and all the OG R owners. Im just not sure how many of you are still out there and or if the new generation meets up etc.

Working on one, usually we meet the 3rd weekend of January but Aliso has gotten to be a little popular over the years and looking for a new spot.

I don't have any R anymore but still go to the meets. I'm down to meet up once a location is announced.

 

I'm not a big meet guy but I would like to come meet some west coast faces. I heard Tony could do 9's and maybe finally meet Yoshi. I could make a weekend out of it. Maybe I'l actually show up this time.

Let's get a date going and I will just show up on Mark's door step. Work should be calm after mid January. Outside of the annual ITR guns meet on Presidents Day I'm wide open until April when wedding season kicks off.

 

I am not really a meet guy either. As I have gotten older I have become more of a recluse with Internet identity outside of my username, haha. I used to go to meets a lot in 2000 to 2002.

I'd be down for a smaller meet. I know of a good pizza place to meet in Orange County, haha.

Thinking of the OG Aliso Beach meet brings back a lot of memories.

We need to come up with something. Need to find a way to get Yoshi to bring #234 out of retirement.

Someone find Louie and tell him he needs to bring his Carne Asada again too.

I had the Aliso Beach meet on mini-dv somewhere. Anyone remember the freeway incident with the motorcycle cop?

I remember that meet really well because it was the first big Type R meet that I had ever gone to. Drove all the way down from SB to make it with a 97, a 98, and a Spooned out 99 EK.

 

LOL I was there for that I was right behind the EG that opend his door and took him out lol

 

Crazy ****, I remember the cop mouthing "Why the **** did you open the door". Crazy times.

 

Haha, I remember reading about that incident with the cop.

I saw footage from a recent Aliso Beach meet and thought it was really cool to see that amount of ITRs all together. I can't remember the last time I saw an R on the street cruising around. Then again, I hardly ever see fixed up Hondas.

 

That first Aliso meet was the biggest one that we ever had. I remember everyone trying to get another one together with only marginal success. We need to come up with something like that again.

 

West Coast ITR Expo?

 

That's what im talking about. The west coast ITR owners could really use this.
