I have a 96 civic cx and I just got a viper 5704 for christmas and I was wondering if it could be installed on my car. It is a 5 speed and manual locks and windows. Is it possible to install it in my car without adding power locks?

yeah i know that they have that programed in there from the factory but i was worried about the power locks and not having power locks

 

If you want power locks, you will need to add actuators to each door. If you do not need them, the the wires won't be hooked up. This will cause no issues with the alarm.

Ya I don't blame you. I am out in NC and just installed a Viper 5901 in my TSX a few weeks ago. It really helps out in the mornings. Are you planning on installing yourself? The 5704 should have an output to turn on your rear defogger...def get that hooked up.

If you don't know already, there is a temperature check feature on the remote that will tell you the temp of your cars interior from the remote.
