Hey, I have a chance to get an 8th gen v6 sedan exhaust for a great price. Is there any way I could retrofit it to fit my 2000 4cyl sedan? I am ok with welding, my worry is mounting the mufflers. I'm not getting the mid pieces, just the very last piece with both mufflers.

How hard would that be? any tips? any help is appreciated! thanks!

 

It's been done before, my friend has TSX or TL mufflers on his car. It's not going to bolt right up though, you're going to be custom fitting it.

 

if you are ok with welding get to work. no one can really give you step by step instructions for custom install.

 

x2 Custom fit is just that, you need to get under there and take some measurements and start cutting & welding. There is no DIY tute!

If you can take measurements and weld it's fairly easy stuff to do. I've done it on quite a few of my vehicles without the use of a lift. Including custom exhaust for my lawn tractor...lol practice makes perfect. Then again I am a pipefitter/welder so making pipe spools (exhaust pieces) to fit in tight places may come a bit easier to me.
