if my vtec solenoid doesn't work anymore do i use the one that comes out of an 93 acura nsx?

 

Look for one on ebay or in the classifieds section.

Are you sure it's the solenoid and not a wiring or some other issue? Personally, I have seen maybe one solenoid ever go bad. More times than not it was either a wiring issue or a dirty filter on the solenoid.

 

I searched a little and supposedly all b series vtec solenoids will fit, the only difference is that the obd1&2 are supposed to be a little smaller but are all the same. Hope this helps out.
