I have a 2006 Accord that needs the primary O2 sensor replaced. I have replaced them before on other cars and have a the socket to remove and reinstall them, but there is almost no clearance between the sensor and the axle to get the socket in there let alone get a ratchet on it. What's the trick to getting that puppy out?

Open ended wrench?

 

I've only looked at it from the top after removing the heat shield from the manifold. Seems like its recessed so a open end or box wrench cant get in to it. Maybe it's accessable from underneath more easily, was just hoping someone here could let me know.

 

yeah from underneath it is no prob.
