Hey guys, so my a/c compressor stopped working mid summer, so I took the a/c compressor and all the hardlines out just now. But there also is a huge eye sore of a wiring harness aswell and some relays mounted behind the passenger headlight that Im hoping to delete aswell.

My questions is if I can delete the wiring harness AND relays, and that one ground by the relays, without affecting any other systems of the car.

Where one side of the narness connects in the the fusebox, just a simple pull connector no fuse it seems


Then the harness goes across the front of the car and into the firewall here, I didnt follow it through the firewall, Im assuming there is a simple connector on the other side somewhere?? To snowy to get on my back in the driveway

Ya, you can remove it without issues. Please don't cut it!! There are two more plugs inside the cabin. One goes to the evaporator and one on the main harness. IMO, get a new compressor and keep the AC!! You can also remove the evap and put a delete where it goes if you really want to remove the whole thing.

 

No doubt! I totally agree. People always claim not to need a/c, but it is the best way to clear a fogged windshield.

So those relays are for no other circuits and wont affect anything to delete them aswell
