Default brake caliper torque specs

I have a 2005 Honda Element. I am replacing the front passenger brake caliper. The guy at the parts store told me to, "Just crank it down." Are there any torque specs for this part, or does it not matter?

there are torque specs, but dont be tooo concerned. use lock tite and crank it down to what feels comfortable. you want it pretty tight.
