Strut tower clearance???
Going to be taking my motor out for my bay to get painted and tucked was wondering if anyone has has problems with the uca poking threw there strut towers being slammed? If so im going with to custom fabbed strut towers.
Only way that could happen is if your riding on stock blown shocks with ebay coilovers at the lowest setting and you tear thru the dessert at 100 mph (depending on what you mean by slammed)
was just wondering because i had an eg and had bwr uca and put holes in my strut tower just didnt know if the integra was as easy to do the same to.
Yes, the uca in integras are prone to hitting the shock tower in "slammed" cars. It depends on how low, and the spring rate of your coilover. I have 450 lb rates up front and when driving over potholes or bumps in the road the uca hits. I can already see small dents from it hitting occasionally. It doesn't sound pretty either.... I would fab some raised shock towers if i could
