Default new to me 03 civic Si

I bought the car from a scrap yard and know nothing of the previous owner, and want to work out a few bugs it has.
P1166 code I have found searching on google. 02 sensor or wiring issue.
Tripp odometer doesnt work, so I can't get the maint. req. light to go out.
Door locks dont work, I hear them trying to do something but they dont actually lock. The passanger door doesnt do anything now. It used to try.
It has 184K miles. What should i look for and are there any other problems I should look for?

Oh and did these come with remote start? If so how can I tell if this one is equipped with it?

Remote start wasn't offered on Civics.

The door lock sounds like a door lock actuator. very common on some Hondas. and I haven't seen an ep3 do the trip odometer, but I have seen some 01-05 ex/lx cars do it. My advise, fix the door lock actuator, and get a new cluster bc if I remember correctly, that's the only way to fix the trip.

I have owned two EP3's and never had an odometer issue. I would assume, like the others, that a new cluster would be needed to fix this.

Door lock actuators are very common to fail in the vehicles. There are a few DIY's floating around the internet that can assist you in getting those fixed.

fixed the trip swithch, someone had the cluster apart before and didnt have it back together all the way. the push rod wasnt hitting the button/switch.
got to check out the door actuator. its getting signal from the switch. not sure how to get the actuator out. Is it connected to the door latch as a system or is it separate?
also looking for a cheap remote entry for the car? other than e-bay wheres a good source for them

Door Lock Actuator DIY

Unless you want to get an OEM key FOB from the dealer, I say get one from ebay. Be sure you get the right part number though.
