hi i have a 91 crx si, im doing a 88-91 b16 SIR swap and i was just wondering if it is easier to just retain my stock harness and just convert that to vtech or just slap on the SIR harness, i'm just looking to make this swap the easiest way possible thanks for the help

Use your current harness and just run the additional wires.

The SiR one won't work due to it being for a right hand drive car.

 

Isn't it a general rule with swaps in general to use the harness that plugs into your chassis harness/ came with your chassis?

k well thank you, i didn't know that SIR harness had to be for right hand drive, for the additional wire is that the jumper harness your talking about or the subharness?

 

Yup.

Max of 3 wires for vtec. Oil pressure, vtec solenoid, ground.
