Need Help With Installation For RECARO SEATS
These seats I recently bought are Recaro Speed Replicas, and I'm having a hard time installing the bottom brackets to the seat and to the chassis (only 3 holes line up with the chassis holes, the fourth one isn't aligned). Also, someone told me that some drilling is required in order to mount the seats onto the rails. Has anyone here experienced that problem? I would really much appreciate it if you can help me out. Anyone have instructions or pictures that could help me?
Should have gone with the real ones(not a knock off) you'll run into problems like this all the time with a knock off. or you bought the wrong rails....
ttyl4cereal ....
Most knock offs do have fitment issues like B_Swapped93 says but it wont mean you are SOL. I would recommend that you modify the rails you have or have a custom set made by wedge engineering. If you go with wedge, you may want to opt for a nicer pair of seats since the rails will not be cheap... but they will also not be rigged from anyone's basement.
Hope that helps!

I bought the seats/rails together from the same person. I understand it's a knock-off but this is only what I can afford.
A photo or two would help solve your problem. Couldnt you just mark on the bottom brackets where the fourth hole lines up on the seat and then drill out a hole to make it work? That sounds like the easiest solution to make due with what you got!
